In Case of an Emergency

Standard outpatient therapy is not intended to address acute crisis situations or provide emergency intervention.

If you are experiencing a mental health emergency or are in immediate danger,
- Call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room, or
- Reach the National Suicide and Crisis Lifeline by calling or texting 988 for free, confidential support 24/7.

Community Mental Health Centers

For persons with more severe mental illness and needing a higher level of care, or with financial limitations, every region in Texas operates a community mental health center, also known as the Local Mental Health Authority (LMHA). The LMHA offers crisis services, treatment and case management, support services, and hospitalization coordination.
